•Fleet Week and Memorial Day on the Intrepid -- The sailors are in town this week. •Memorial Day in Times Square -- Celebrate Memorial Day with a free outdoor screening in the middle of Broadway in Times Square. As of this weekend, the city is clearing traffic from Broadway to create a new pedestrian plaza in Times Square for the summer. A Monday screening of the classic New York musical On the Town will be the first of many summer events in the new public space.
